1. What is stored on your device

Nursing timer entries (start and end time, left or right, duration, note), the times your baby woke, the chat text (what you wrote and the App’s reply), the look-back summaries, your profile (display name, baby’s name and age in months, notification settings, text size), the “things to remember” notes (family, occupation, partner, how you are feeling — free text), and a record of when distressing wording appeared (a short code and a category only, never the sentence itself). There is no account and no sign-in.

This stays inside the App’s storage area on your iPhone. It is not sent to our servers.

2. What is sent off the device (usage records)

The App sends usage records from the moment it launches. These are the fields it sends:

• ・An anonymous ID (a string generated per device; it is not linked to your name or email address)
• ・A session ID, the app ID (ltd.nextcode.midnightmom), and the app version
• ・The iOS version, the device type (“iPhone”), and the device language setting
• ・That the App was opened and closed, and how long it stayed open
• ・That you tapped “Rate this app” or “Send feedback” in Settings

Sending starts automatically at launch and happens roughly every 30 seconds, or in one batch when you close the App. Per-screen records — which screen you viewed and for how long — are not sent in this version. The current version has no setting to stop it. If you want it to stop, delete the App.

3. What is not sent

• ・Anything you type (chat text, nursing entries, your baby’s name, the “things to remember” notes)
• ・Your name, email address, postal address, phone number, or date of birth
• ・Location, contacts, calendar, or the contents of your photo library
• ・The advertising identifier (IDFA). The App does not ask for tracking permission and shows no ads.

4. Where the data goes

The usage records above are stored in a database we operate on Supabase (Supabase Inc., USA). The server running that database is located in India (Mumbai). We state this plainly because the data leaves Japan.

We use these records only to investigate and fix problems in the App. We do not sell or share them with third parties.

5. How the replies are produced (please read)

In the version currently on sale, chat content is not sent to any external AI service. Code for connecting to an external AI service is still present in the App, but the key needed to connect is not included, so that path never runs and replies are chosen from text prepared inside the App. If a future version sends chat content to an external AI service, we will update this page and tell you inside the App before that version ships.

6. Microphone and speech recognition

iOS shows permission strings for the microphone and speech recognition, but this version has no voice input and uses neither.

7. Purchases

Purchases and payments are handled by Apple’s App Store (StoreKit). Card numbers and other payment details are never passed to the App. The App only sees whether a purchase is active.

8. Notifications

Notifications are built and shown entirely on your device. There is no push server, and notification content never leaves the device.

9. Retention and deletion

• ・“Delete conversations” in Settings removes the chat, the look-back summaries, the nursing entries and the wake-time records together. The “things to remember” notes can be cleared separately on their own screen.
• ・Deleting the App deletes the data on your device. Deleted data cannot be restored.
• ・Usage records already sent remain attached to the anonymous ID. The App has no screen that displays that ID, so you cannot match it yourself. If you want them deleted, contact info@usmc.jp.
• ・If you use an iPhone backup (iCloud backup or a computer backup), the App’s data is included in that backup.

10. Sending feedback

Tapping “Send feedback” in Settings opens the iPhone Mail app with a message addressed to info@119.bz. Sending it is your own action. If you send it, we receive what you wrote and the email address you sent it from.

11. Children

The App is meant for a parent or guardian of a baby to use for themselves. It is not intended for children under 13.

12. Updates to this page

When we change the App, we update this page. If a future version sends more than what is listed here, we will update this page before that version ships.
